What Minna Naulapää doesn't like about Ravintola Kastu:
There's a few happenstances that likely bias my review, but here goes In my opinion the food here is rather too pricy for what you actually get. Big part of this opinion is due to the chicken we got on our Lastu tasting rather old, making the experience already a little sour on the appetizers Main meal was alright taste wise (likely since there wasn't any I'd the days chicken involved) though I wouldn't call it filli... The Best Restaurant! Definitely worth visiting. The first pack of food replaces the main meal. And that bread of roots should not be missed.

The original review after the first visit included the Forest Mushroom Cappuccino (7 EUR) and the Kastu Bianco ‘Lastu’ (10 EUR), both of which were good, but the cappuccino could have used a bit more salt. The amuse-bouche was a nice touch. For our main courses, we had the Carbonara Flower Cake with mornay sauce and the Kastu Picnic (19 EUR) as well as the Iberico Pork with romesco sauce and crackling (26 EUR). Both dishes were delicious. The side salad was a bit disappointing, but the live music made up for it. For dessert, we had the Crema Catalana (7.5 EUR) and the Chocolate Market (chocolate, grilled banana toffee, and milk ice cream, 11 EUR), both of which were excellent. The atmosphere was lovely and the service was kind. We will definitely be back.
