Honestly based on reviews we probably would have gone elsewhere but one was a three hour wait and another had just closed their kitchen. Six out of the seven of us went with the burger figuring it should be a pretty safe bet. The menu said half pound cooked to medium unless you ask for a different cook. When one of our group asked for well our waitress said oh they are all well done. Well done is not how I would describe these burgers, burnt to a charred crisp dry near inedible state is how I would describe these. Our waitress was good, our fries were good but these guys don't have a clue how to cook a burger. We would have been better off eating at the taco truck in the hotel parking lot.

My girlfriend and I decided to go there, and even though they said there was a 1.5-hour wait for food, we were okay with getting drinks while we waited. However, after sitting at a table for 20 minutes without any server coming to take our drink order, we decided to leave and ended up at Subway instead. The lack of service and attention we received was disappointing.

Expect to stand at the "Wait to Be Seated" sign for at least 30 minutes. The staff does not acknowledge customers waiting for a table. The prices are high for food that is average at best and often overcooked. Having lived in Salmon, Idaho for over 26 years, I do not recommend this restaurant.

I enjoyed the atmosphere on the outdoor deck with umbrellas and a view of the Salmon river. On my second visit, I tried the tacos which were unique, creative, and delicious. They also had live music on Fridays, adding to the great experience. The servers were efficient and friendly. I absolutely love this place.

The burger was generously sized with juicy, flavorful meat, and the bun and toppings were equally impressive. I also tried two of the unique taco options the next day and was equally satisfied. These tacos were not your typical fare - they were creative and incredibly tasty. The outdoor seating with umbrellas overlooking the Salmon river added to the lovely ambiance.

Unfortunately, it was a big mistake. The orange chicken had a strange, gelatinous sauce that left a bad aftertaste, and the chicken itself was undercooked. The pad Thai noodles were stiff, as if they had been reheated after being refrigerated. Overall, the meal was very disappointing. On the upside, the patio was pleasant and the server was friendly.

It was my first time dining here and I had no ide... read more I ended up at Last Wave restaurant due to my favorite restaurant in Salmon being closed for emergency repairs. It was my first time dining here and I had no idea what to expect. However, I was pleasantly surprised and it quickly became my new favorite restaurant in Salmon. As a vegetarian, I was impressed by the great options they had. The food was fantastic and the service provided by Elecia, our server, was top-notch. I travel and eat out frequently, and this was one of the best dining experiences I have had. I will definitely be returning and I highly recommend Last Wave to anyone looking for a great restaurant in Salmon. Thank you!
