Description

TwoCooks Restaurant offers exquisite food in both formal dining and take-out settings, boasting beautiful baked goods, sandwiches, and sausage rolls. The seasonal tasting menu with wine pairings is highly recommended, with chefs creating dishes by hand. While prices are higher, the quality justifies it. Diners are impressed by the delicious courses, thoughtful wine pairings, and beautiful views of the canal. The restaurant also provides exceptional coffee, pastries, and service. However, some guests note slight mishaps in steak preparation and bill accuracy, suggesting room for improvement in the overall dining experience. Overall, TwoCooks offers Michelin-quality dining in Kildare.

This charming local café is wonderful. Their coffee is top-notch, and they have an extensive variety of pastries alongside fresh, tasty sandwiches made with bread baked daily in-house. On Fridays and Saturdays, you can even purchase their freshly baked bread to take home. The team is incredibly welcoming, and you have the option to either take your order to go or savor it while relaxing in the café.

TwoCooks Sallins is an exceptional restaurant! The team is wonderful, and the food is outstanding. The ambiance is charming, making it the best place to visit around Naas and Clane. With the canal and greenway close by, it’s an ideal location. Try it once, and you’ll surely want to return.

My visit to TwoCooks Sallins for Sunday brunch was fantastic. The leek soup, shakshuka eggs, and avocado toast topped with spinach green salsa were all wonderful. We rounded off our meal with a scrumptious blond brownie. I’m eager to return soon.

This is our favorite local café! We absolutely love it and highly recommend trying the sausage roll and almond croissant—they're both delicious!

We booked the Steak special for 2. Had bread basket for starter which was really nice, in particular the brown bread was great. We were never asked how we wanted our steaks which led to a slightly awkward situation having to ask later only to find out our steaks were already prepared and resting. I know chefs always recommend steaks to be served medium but to just assume this is the guests preference without asking is a bit odd. The steaks did come out the way we asked in the end and absolutely delicious served with roasted parsnip, parsnip puree, chips and some rocket salad. We were charged for something we didn't order but it was swiftly removed from the bill when pointed out. Wine/water prices differ slightly to what's listed online. The restaurant's interior is a bit bland (dark and grey) with no real ambience. Great food quality that reflects the prices but overall experience is not a 5 star one.
