You reach this village after a scenic Drive through Danube Valley Wachau and then up to the mountains. If you are here in early summer you can enjoy the colors...of the Poppy flowers around this rustic place. Very good food with a reasonable price. Reserve a table before driving there.

Also haben wir uns auf den Weg... read more Wir hatten zwar schon viel vom Mohn im Waldviertel gehört, aber haben nie richtig gewusst, was es damit für eine Bewandtnis hat. Also haben wir uns auf den Weg ins schöne Waldviertel gemacht und uns den winzigen Ort gesucht. Es war aber nicht so schwierig, diesen zu finden.In Armschlag ist alles Mohn, Mohnweg, Mohnschule,.....Mohnwirt. Ein zentrales Gebäude im Ort mit tollen Mohnspezialitäten. Wir haben uns das Mohnpotpouri gegönnt und waren angenehm überrascht: Mohneis, Mohnnudeln,........ Für Mohnliebhaber ein absoluter Genuss, daher ist der ganze Ort samt Wirt allen Mohnfreunden unbedingt zu empfehlen.

We are regular customers, come every year on July The restaurant...see you very nicely decorated with poppy cake, good was delicious and good quality, the price is normal, the staff is very nice, helpful.
