Le Transat - Sallanches

Just had a great lunch in Le Transat, which is a great little find. It was very busy on Sunday when we came to swimming and today Monday they managed to squeeze the 6 of us. Staff have put together a table for...we all let us know only 2 menu de Jour left. You had the menu de jour, that was great and so much for 16 euros, that is a great price for this area. They had the fish (bass) that was also very good. The rest had Bavette with blue cheese sauce and a selection of frits, potato gratin or rice with mushrooms and courgette. It was all very good at a good price in a beautiful seaside location with beautiful staff. We're just disappointed that we didn't find it sooner in the holidays because we're home tomorrow. Near Sallanches are three lakes. One for fishing, one for windsurfing and the middle lake for swimming. On the beach of the bathing lake there is a wonderful summer restaurant. The staff are wonderfully welcoming and the environment is stunning with the chain... from Mont Blanc is reflected in the lake in front of you. The menu is diverse, but the best option is the menu de jour. Three courses served a variety of dishes with quality wine glasses. The quality of food is excellent and at 15€ amazing value. A real must.

Une cuisine délicieuse, un accueil chaleureux, bravo continuez comme ça très bonne ambiance, ça fait plusieurs fois que nous venons, nous sommes pas déçu toujours aussi bon bravo

Le repas fût bon et le service très bon et efficace. À mon avis bon rapport qualité/prix. Le serveur est bienveillant et très souriant.
