Salisbury Big Stop

The restaurant continues to serve very good meals with excellent service. The place is always busy as it is a truckers stop off the TC and they are open year round, even with back up power during storms. The food is always consistent with specials for seniors. Their home made pies are amazing

The clubhouse had fresh ingredients but the so called mayonnaise ruined it for me. It tasted vinegar and Dijon. The waitress was not attentive and left so fast without asking if we needed anything. Took me 10 minutes running around to find vinegar. Came back to check on us when we were finished eating. If the waitresses were more attentive to customers instead of all standing around and chat the experience would be more enjoyable.

Good Meal Good Service Never disappointed here Stop here whenever possible for a meal even if we don't need fuel

Used to enjoy all of Irvings Big Stop Restaurants in NB, but this is one of them that has gone downhill. The food was good (lobster roll is better at the Dolan Road locale), but the service was not good. No water, no menus brought by hostess. Waited awhile for a server (she was very busy, and not her fault; in fact she was a high light of our visit). The hostess and another young waiter were very busy socializing and pretty oblivious to customers' needs. Did not seem to be anyone in charge of staff.

Covid has taken its toll on this place. Service was 110% Excellent. Waitress was amazing. Super friendly, knowledgeable, and prompt. Food not so much. I remember when this place had homemade bread, now just your ordinary paper thin sliced bread. Western sandwich eggs burnt, and home fries over cooked also. Definitely not living up to the quality that use to be here.
