We love Taylor 's, bring a sweater. They smoke their meat on site, almost everything we 've tried has been great. Their side greens are delicious, the salmon with dill sauce BLT is awesome, smoked wings are a must. We don 't care for the goo but that 's just us. View all feedback.
What Colleen Mclean doesn't like about Taylor's Bbq:
This meal was disappointing. Rack of ribs burnt- Chicken burnt so bad it was dry and off the bone, yams were old and brown and collard greens tasted and looked like they cooked them in toilet water. ONLY thing i would recommend is not getting take out or look at it before bringing it home! Never never go back for a thing!! Only good thing was wet cornbread- kinda hard to mess that up! DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!!!!!! View all feedback.
Absolutely amazing! This place is fantastic and simply outstanding. The barbecue here is the real deal. You won’t be disappointed!
We were told by our server that the fries were just like Thrashers, but the only thing they had in common was that they were made from potatoes. They weren’t even salted! The cornbread was almost like pudding. Out of the $32 platter, the best part was the cole slaw, which is pretty much all my husband ended up eating. We were hopeful that the pork belly would redeem the meal, but the pork belly tacos were underwhelming. Pork belly should be juicy and tender—it's bacon, for heaven's sake! Instead, it was tough, rubbery, dry, and lacked flavor. I only managed to eat one of the three tacos (for $15) because I was hungry and had no sides to turn to. We ordered Orange Crushes, but they were far from that. The orange juice was freshly squeezed, which I appreciate, but that was about it. If there was any vodka, it was barely noticeable, and there was no carbonation at all. It felt like I was just drinking a $7.50 glass of fresh-squeezed orange juice over ice. My husband ordered unsweetened tea when we sat down and asked for sweetener twice before finally receiving it after our food was served. By then, the ice had melted, and he didn’t want it anymore. Overall, it was not a good experience, and knowing how much we were looking forward to it made it even worse. This is definitely not the Taylor's BBQ I knew and loved. I truly hope today was just an exception and that their food is usually better than this. However, after spending over $70 for lunch, I don't think we’ll risk finding out again.
This is a fantastic BBQ restaurant! The food and service are consistently top-notch. I've visited multiple times and have never been disappointed.
Unexpected pleasure while visiting MD the service was fast, food was hot and fresh, the flavors were what you would expect from a BBQ joint. Big portion for the price. Dietary restrictions: No Dairy
You gotta get the corn bread bites they are life changing
