I have eaten here 5 or 6 times and have never received exceptional service, but it has always been acceptable. I went here for lunch on Saturday and they took my drink order, but never returned to take our food order. After waiting 20 minutes, we got up and left. I would have been more understanding, but the waitresses were too busy chatting with each other instead of helping the customers. View all feedback.
I have visited this restaurant several times. The service at this particular location is truly awful due to the waitstaff. As someone who has spent their life working in restaurants, I find the waitresses to be extremely rude without any justification. I now choose to visit the other locations instead where the service is excellent and I am generous with tips.
I had a wonderful time at this restaurant. The food was amazing! My favorite dishes were the squash, beans, cole slaw, and the fantastic barbecue. I was pleasantly surprised to discover that kids eat for free, making it a very family-friendly spot.

I was pleased with the food and service during my recent visit to Hendrix BBQ. However, I was caught off guard by an unexpected 3.99% convenience charge applied to my credit card payment, including the tip. It would have been nice to have prior notice of this charge so I could make different payment arrangements. Despite this issue, my overall experience was enjoyable, thanks to the friendly staff and the charming retro decor.
