Growers Pub In Sal - Salinas Ca

We had a reservation for 4 at 5:30 on a Wednesday. Parking was easy. The place was busy and noisy. We were seated immediately. Our server was friendly, knowledgeable and experienced. Our group had prime rib and New York steak (and salmon filet), amazing steak, cooked to perfection along with the potatoes, veggies, and salad. Thumbs up for an outstanding steakhouse meal. We will go back soon. Oh yes, and the wine was excellent!

Order from menu at counter and they give you a buzzer to let you know the food is ready for pickup. Wonderful outdoor eating deck overlooking the water. Seals, birds, and otters in the water or on nearby rocks. Definitely a great place!

The food was delicious and the service was excellent

Way too expensive. Ordered a steak, paid a lot and there was nothing special about it. What was very annoying, was that the waiters were almost running down the hallways. I was enjoying dinner and when people are constantly in a rush, walking by your table, it gets very irritating. I asked questions about the wine and nothing could be answered. I will not return to this place.

Great place for dinner, service was excellent ... if you want a great piece of meat any cut.... full of flavor, then this is the place. Amazing PRime NY. Pairing with a great local wines. Amazing Dinner.
