Cevichería Vanessa - Salinas

I've ordered shrimp and crabs. Just exquisite! The place is not beautiful, but is comfortable and clean. I forgot to take photos, but the dishes are well served and they are not expensive. The service is friendly. Ask Mario, he's really nice and funny. My friend recommended to try the paella, but I think I'll try it on my next visit.

Really a good restaurant usually eat locals here, so prices are reasonable

We stumbled on this restaurante after staying 5 days in Salinas and not been able to find any restaurant that was worthwhile. We had 3 bad experiences trying to eat seafood and this was the last chance we gave to the island. We were surprised by the customer service, patience, and quality of the food. Everything was fresh. We ordered a dish that was a combination of seafood rice (mariscos), fried corvina, fried plantains, and a small size mixed ceviche. It was all amazing and fresh. For the first time In 5 days we did not feel like burping bad tasting fish and felt very good with the food. Also, the owner comes to take your order and explain everything to you despite the size of the place. I even got to choose what tv channel to see. Great job. I will return here once more before we leave tomorrow.

Great food, updated interior, friendliest service! Over the past 8 years Vanessa's has been my favorite place to experience local cuisine. She has worked hard to improve her atmosphere and has done an amazing job. I never miss going in at least once every couple of weeks.

A so fantastic little restaurant that looks like a family business. We had a part of 11 people and the service was amazing and fast. We never had a moment when we showed up on the server. The best dishes are on behalf, Ceviche! Wow, it's amazing and fresh. You can say that they put a lot of love in the soups. The freshly made plantain chips were so good that they went perfectly with the ceviche. If you are ever in the area and have the opportunity to give this place an attempt, you should do it!
