Taqueria Super Pollo - Salinas

It seems like the employee was under the influence of something. They spoke very slowly and seemed easily irritated. They grunted when we entered the restaurant to pick up our order. They questioned why I wanted a receipt when I requested one. I would recommend going to Bankers for the shrimp tacos dorado instead.

The tacos at this restaurant have more beans than meat, and the tortilla is average.

I had never heard of this restaurant before, but once I tried it, I couldn't get enough. I am a big fan of breakfast burritos, and these are definitely my favorite. I especially love the ones with bacon and potatoes. And when I add French fries on the side, it's just perfection. I will definitely be returning to eat here again!

I had the Wednesday daily special (chicken enchiladas, rice, beans, and a fountain drink) after a long journey on the Pacific Coast Highway and it was absolutely delicious! I highly recommend it!

I was charged an extra dollar for a super thin slice of avocado on a basic taco at this restaurant. Despite this, I decided to give them a chance and ordered 3 super tacos and a horchata. Unfortunately, the horchata didn't taste quite right. When I went to sit down, I noticed that the table wasn't very clean and had to wipe it down myself. The server brought the food and placed some salsa samples on the table without saying a word. I also realized that there were no limes provided with the tacos. Overall, it was clear that the restaurant lacked pride in their food, customer service, and sanitation. I left feeling disappointed and will not be returning.
