When I first arrived at the restaurant, I was a bit skeptical. It didn't stand out as particularly unique, just your average Mexican restaurant. The prices seemed a bit high for the atmosphere, but that all changed when I tried the tacos. They were the best I've had in Salinas, with hand-made tortillas and perfectly crunchy meat. Service here is extremely slow. Prices are a bit high especially for a farm community. I live in a Mexican border town in Texas and our prices at local restuarants are about 10-15% less. We waited an hour for chorizo and eggs and caldo de pollo. Food was however tasty but I had to take my soup to go or I would be late for an appointment. I'll probably come here again but next time I'll have to block at least 2 hours... View all feedback.
