What kim sharp doesn't like about Bayard's:
This is a straightforward, hometown restaurant. If you're in search of a cozy atmosphere, you might want to look elsewhere. However, if you're after consistently good food at a reasonable price, along with generally friendly service, this is a great option. View all feedback.

Incredible pancakes! Even though I'm not typically a pancake fan, I absolutely enjoyed these. The service was excellent, and the portions were generous. I can't wait to go back!
The food appeared appealing, but if you belong to a minority group or are a person of color, it’s best to avoid this place. The server was quite unfriendly and dismissive towards non-white customers. You'll feel watched the moment you enter and throughout your meal. To spare yourself the discomfort, consider going to IHOP instead.
The food was not good. My husband had a chicken fry sandwich. The chicken fry was very dry and hard to cut and chew. I had a grilled chicken breast, coleslaw, jello and a biscuit. The grilled chicken was tasteless and so moist that it was like it hadbeen boiled. The biscuit was fresh out of the refrigerator. I had expected it to be heated.
Huge amounts of food for the value. Staff very nice. Gave 4 stars due to the restaurant really needing updates.
