Two hours later we were still sitting there eating the Odun Kofte, which was excellent and a great conversation with the owner Ms. Ayfer (pronounced Ayfersh). This is a family run restaurant serving good quality food in a very pleasant and relaxed environment. The restaurant, shaped like a boat, was tastefully decorated and the people were genuinely nice and interested to serve you. They even served us Halwe (Turkish dessert) on the house to get us to taste it. Go here for the food and don’t forget to say hello to Ayfer, a very enterprising young lady who also speaks English. We also got to meet her father who sat with us and had tea using Ayfer for translation. We are so happy that we accidentally stopped by for good food and great conversation. Try their Odun Kofte…it’s amazing!
