Osechi Japanese Street Food - Salford

If you want somewhere with terrible customer service and a waitress who can’t crack a smile or say thank you, this is the place for you. Had to help myself to get cutlery once the food was on the table. The soup was meant to be a starter and was brought after the main courses. The waitress forgot half of our order and we had to ask her many times for the same thing. When we finished our food and asked for the card machine to pay the bill she started pulling faces and when I asked for a receipt she walked off and said it was too late. And to finish off when we were walking out we were told not to come back. Unfortunately I can’t give less stars for this terrible customer service

I just tried the sate noodles with the meaty option of beef, chicken, and prawn and I was very impressed. I asked for a bit more spice and was not disappointed. I will definitely be returning as it was great value for the price.

We have dined at this restaurant several times now, both for takeout and dining in, and the food has been consistently excellent. The sushi is freshly prepared, the ramen is tasty, and the service is friendly. It can be hard to find good sushi outside of the city center, but this place hits the mark and offers great value for money. We will definitely be coming back and are happy to support a family-run business instead of a big corporation.

Since moving to the area I have ordered from Osechi way more than any other of the local takeaways. The food is so fresh, tasty, and different! Very reasonable, especially the sushi which are good portion sizes and delicious. Would definitely recommend the spicy tuna rolls or the chicken gyoza

I've tried sushi and ramen so far, i'll definitely be trying the rest of the menu. The food is fresh and tasty, deliveries always arrive promptly and hot.
