Chubby Panda Bao House - Salem

I love this place so much. The whole food court is good but I only go here. $10 for a bbq pork bao and superb fries. Will be back.

Poorly thought out fusion food that just doesn’t work. Dry pork with no flavor. And to top it off, though I barely ate half of the bao, I suffered severe food poisoning at 2am after my meal from Chubby Panda, on the first night of my stay in Salem. I absolutely cannot recommend, even without the poisoning.

They said that they have the best wings in town. It's not bragging if you can back it up and WOW, did they deliver! They could claim they have the best wings in the Willamette Valley and I can easily believe that is true. Keep it up!

Stopped by on our road trip to Seattle. I was craving something with a lot of flavor. We got exactly that! I ordered Korean Fried Chicken and the Rangoon's it was perfect! My husband did a combo of the fried chicken and pork with a side of Jalapeño coleslaw. Everything tasted great a perfect stop along the way. Its located inside of Fork Forty which is a food hall. There were other great options of there was more time I would love to explore the area more. Overall a great experience considering it's something we picked on a whim.

This is my go to for an affordable easy meal in Salem. My only complaint is they aren't open late enough on Fridays and Saturdays but honestly no one is in Salem! Writing this review my mouth is watering. Go eat here, you won't regret it.
