I had a wonderful experience at this charming family-owned Chinese restaurant, and I highly recommend it. The fresh aromas are delightful and not overpowering. I tried two dishes, both of which were outstanding—far better than any other Chinese restaurant in the city. While the menu isn't extensive, there are plenty of options, and I can't wait to sample more. I went back for a second round and everything I had was s... View all feedback.
Delicious Chinese food. I love fried rice there that is close to home-wok style and very authentic! Definitely recommend for ppl who want to try more authentic Chinese dishes in the city.
Awesome Chinese, best I've had in a while. Small, but well decorated inside. Feels family run. Quick service, excellent recommendations, but I'm guessing everything on the menu is good to excellent. The gourmet fried rice and sweet and sour chicken were a favorite. The sesame chicken was delicious, but not for everyone's palette. Kung Pao was highly recommended as their number one dish, we'll try that next time. If Panda is average, this place is excellent. They use decent size chunks of meat, the breading is consistent, crispy, and the sauce perfection. They do not use msg or put sugar in the sauce. It's small, but they could handle a larger group if you call ahead and go at an off time. There's a small parking lot.
The food here is absolutely amazing and delicious. Was blown away by the portion size and taste. In the photos here are garlic beef (spicy) with steamed rice, seseme chicken with fried rice, and the beef Singapore rice noodles. You can choose different meat and even veggie options depending on your preference. The building is small and the parking is a little wonky. But I 'm definately coming here for the food again and again. I got a 'super hot ' (they have varying levels of spices you can choose from if you ask the waitress). I felt a spicy pepper kick and can say it was surprising to finally have a food that was actually spicy (most places say food is spicy when my tolerance says otherwise).
Jeff you shouldn't use toothpaste before you go out to eat, giving this place less then Star's is just another place of business being jealous for what these awesome cook's put out in this restaurant. I have to say this restaurant is absolutely the best I have eaten at, I haven't had food this good in any Chinese restaurant in Oregon Although I do give honest reviews this one takes 1st place, We had sesame chicken, mushroom chicken and gourmet fried rice with 8 amazingly tasty spring rolls was a better deal and very healthy portions and piping hot. I would recommend anyone that thinks they have the best Chinese place to eat, to come try the best.. I'LL BE BACK!! oh not to forget the peanut people that give bad reviews, y'all know Chinese places use peanut oil and sauce it the way the food is cooked so maybe ya should keep eating American food, but I guess it's a way to get a free meal if your that hard up..
This place is small but full of 70s charm. The food is first rate Chinese American food with fresh ingredients. The flavors are balanced with a yin yang thoughtfulness that will bring your tongue memories of travels abroad. Simple, honest and honorable comfort food.
