This has been my favorite restaurant in Greece for a long time now. I was lucky to be taken here by a Greek friend, as it is a truly local spot. They don't even have an English menu, but surprisingly, Maria, who served us and is also one of the owners, speaks perfect Spanish. The restaurant's specialties, like many on the islands, are seafood and fish, but they also offer several vegan dishes. The eggplant dish, made vegan by removing the cheese, was a delicious treat. In fact, all the dishes we tried were amazing. The restaurant is located on the Malecón, with views of the sea on this serene island very close to Athens. Overall, this is a must-visit spot for anyone in Greece.
This restaurant in Greece has become my favorite so far. I was lucky to be brought here by a Greek friend, as it is a truly local spot. They don't even have a menu in English, but surprisingly, Maria, who served us and is also one of the owners, speaks perfect Spanish. The specialty here, as in many island restaurants, is seafood and fish. However, they also offer several vegan dishes. The cooked eggplant, when requested without cheese, is a delightful vegan option. In fact, I loved all the dishes we tried. The restaurant is located on the Malecón, with a view of the sea on this peaceful island very close to Athens.
