Others praised the tasty food, particularly the octopus salad, and the attentive server. The ambiance was described as too bright and cafeteria-like, with complaints of slow service and construction noise. Overall, opinions on the restaurant seemed to vary, with some expressing disappointment while others planned to return for the delicious food.
Lunch and brunch. Service too slow. 50 minutes to get our food. Server not attentive; always had to try to get his attention. Buffet breakfast so the focus is on bringing coffee. Even then, had to chase after the server.
Excellent cuisine. 3-star rating for the server who was polite overall, but forgot about our table several times.
Excellent food and wine fresh food. Not a lot of choice but that may be why the food is so good. The staff appear to work vet hard.
Overall fantastic experience. Great menu/food and excellent ambiance.
I've been to the Manoir several times and it's always been good. Nice service, good food, a good option for brunch and supper when you're staying in the hotel. This time around, the hotel was renovating the neighbouring restaurant and during our 7:30pm supper we could hear the sounds of the construction workers...hammering, drilling, nail guns shots...it was all very loud and super distracting. Our table couldn't understand why construction was going on during dining hours, why we weren't warned when making reservations, and especially that they didn't comp us anything after we complained. Only the next morning, upon checkout, did the hotel receptionist offer us a discount on our room after I mentioned last night's inconvenience. I'll be going back, im sure, as we really like the hotel-but we won't be eating at their restaurant until all the construction is finished with.
