The property is located on the edges of Charente facing a superb Gallo-R... read more We stopped by chance in this brewery on Sunday noon in Saintes on the road to Brittany. The property is located on the edges of Charente facing a superb Gallo-Roman triumphal arc. The boss explained that he doesn't cook, but with a local catererer, he offers dishes served in wooden boxes accompanied by salad. We chose a duck parmenter that turned out to be good, and to accompany our Musadet glass, a delicious dry local sausage. To finish a Nutella whipped waffle. Prices are very affordable. A small reservation, however, for the boss who made a misleading moral lesson to a client visibly in weakness.
