What Roberto Wiese doesn't like about Chez Fanneu:
Chez Fanneau is a nice, simple bar with outside seating. We just had a couple of beers and tapas and enjoyed them. NB however that a couple who asked for tapas 5 minutes after us were told that it was too late for tapas. This...was circa 7 o'clock, so you might want to check. Having said that, the waiter had already given them the main menu, so I guess if they had wanted to order a main meal they would have been ok.... View all feedback.
We had both salat and both on sand. pretty uninterested and annoying waitress. they gave us tomaten as an excuse, instead of washing their salat properly and bringing a new one. but they took our drinks. not yet recommended. outpatient and not helpful...for non-Fench spokesman.
We had lunch in bistro chez Fanneù on a rainy day so that we could not sit outside, otherwise it would have been nice on a sunny day). when we looked at the ground floor, we looked very small, and we couldn't see any tables, but. the staff quickly noticed us looking around and explained that there were seats on top. I had an salat biquette €14.50), which was similar to a “chèvre chaud”, an salat with goat cheese on toast, and it was very delicious. my man had an omelette “complète” €12.00) with cheese, mushrooms, sink and bevel that he liked. the size of the dishes was very good for a light lunch, not too heavy, but quite sufficient. the fresh orange juice was also very delicious. service was beautiful and efficient.
We have at chez fanneu for an apertivi, 2 glasses rosen wine and a plate of “Charcuitierie and Religiousness”. starting from long service times (which might be at this time of the year) we have served a rose wine that was unimaginable and a plate that was in order, but all that was for a price above 40 eur. we left the place with an acid feeling and would not return. the quality does not live until the price tag.
This lovely bistro stands out because it is nicely situated underneath a big tree. The staff was super friendly in a way that we felt like we were invited to a friends place. the menu ranges from (very tasty) tapas to create your own crepe...and is very reasonably priced. Next time we will try the mojito.
Unusual snack offering, clearly very popular with the local younger set. We enjoyed our stuffed croissant and salad as we sat in the sunshine.
