We had the meal of the day and at 25€ it was very good....The appetizers and the seaweeds were superb of the Zitronetarte was a dessert-food heaven. Along with a carafe of local rose wine, it was very good value for money.
A nice small restaurant with good french food. Dont expect anything fancy food wise. Its good value for money, and the serice is friendly and nice. A very cosy outside terrace. Good parking opion next to the restaurant. This restaurant has probably adopted their menues...etc to the nearby retirement home.
We arrived at 8.45 a.m. after a long, hot and tiresome trip from Paris. We were recommended to come from the owner of our BnB, which is usually praise enough. We sat on the terrace, social distance and hygiene properly maintained and very well managed. The staff was so beautiful, friendly, friendly, friendly and very attentive. They spoke both English and French with us, which was soothing for my children, and they were extremely polite and patient with my rustic French! We chose the Mini Melchior Steak option for our three children, I had the warm goat cheese salad and my husband had fish. The food came fast and was absolutely elevated. The steak of my children was cooked for perfection, they said it was the most beautiful they had ever. My goat cheese was so good and my husband ended his fish in about 5 minutes flat! The wine was also great. The overall experience was so good that the children asked to go again next night. From we went back, we had no reservation and it was full, but they went out their way to make a table for us. The children ordered the same, but my husband and I made different decisions. Goat cheese to start for me, followed by duck. My husband also had the foie grass starter and duck. Once again, just raised. Desserts should also die. If Le Melchior appears on your list of possible places to din, I would call it a must. 5 stars around each element eating, drinking, setting, ambience and staff. So happy to have you found!
I had the duck in Le Melchior and I was surprised by the crowd. It was cooked as I asked and was of a good quality. Service was very good. Our waitress was very attentive and helpful.
After a few years of vacation in the area, we recently discovered Le Melchior. It's a bit off the beaten track, but worth a visit! Beautiful location in rural surroundings. Menu series at different prices, but our party went for a...a la carte salad and the E14 set menu. All delicious and all really good value. Seems like a great place to dinner, and we will certainly return.
