I have just enjoyed a great lunch at the Cheval Blanc. I only had the 2 course option which includes coffee for under €13 !! The food was beautifully cooked presented, a fairly quiet calm restaurant, definitely worth revisiting. I just wish I had space for a dessert as they looked amazing as they were taken to other tables. View all feedback.
What Kidd Man (RFK) doesn't like about Hotellerie du Cheval Blanc:
Dinner at the restaurant, we moved twice to get a carafe of water (not fresh either! , and when it was time for cheese, I was told that there was no more bread (plate of cheese at 7€50! , for a meal at 125€, the service is mediocre. On the other hand, the food is very good, but the service spoils the meal! And no commercial gesture? Next time, I would go to “la Ciboulette”, a gourmet restaurant where, for the same pr... A pleasant lunch stop off the highway on the south west road. A very affordable day menu (35€ for two) and good quality. We have no opinion of the hotel, having stopped us for lunch only.
