What User doesn't like about L'estanquet:
We have been here often in the past but for no particular reason, not recently. A very simple menu on a blackboard offering two choices for each of the three courses. Huge helpings and the vast 'chunk ' of meat was too much for me. A jolly owner and friendly team supporting him. The modest wine list, also on a blackboard, was interesting and the wine that we ordered from Tain Hermitage was excellent. A nice evening b... View all feedback.
Very good cuisine from the cheese dessert entrance! Bottom of calf and top praline.
Excellent address, the chef, also sommelier (his wife too), ensures original creations with fresh products, and offers you good business with local wines, or other French terroirs. The setting, the rikiki prices, the selection of wines and products used, the cooking, the atmosphere, the quantities, prevalent on the side prout and it is very well like this, of the true cuisine of the village, generous of bistrot/grandmother but modern and elegant. It is not uncommon to cross the known wine growers around, which puts directly in the mood. Just try if you leave.
A must-see place in Saint Cécile. Paul and his team will welcome you with their big smile
Very good reception, very good cuisine worthy of a real restaurant. We feel the passion of the cook, the quality and the selection of the products used. Really delighted with this restaurant where you add good advice in choosing local wines. I strongly recommend. We will return without hesitation during a passage to Ste Cecile des Vignes.
Speak with paul, taste his kitchen, enjoy the present moment, and if possible with a glass of wine. Thank you for this moment!
