We are here twice, the Food was very good as was the wine. Good location overlooking the harbour and within easy reach of the town. Our first meal there was good enough to make us go back but the service on our second night was fantastic, the best we'd had in two weeks of touring Europe. What UglyDiner doesn't like about Taverne du Pirate:
Appalling food and pretty dire service. The server who took my second plate of food back told me this was how fish is cooked in Dieppe... I've been eating here for 30 years and it's the worst experience I've ever had. Don't go. View all feedback.

Really bad service and not friendly to customers Didn’t give glasses with the water Drinks came after the first course After the main course they gave the glasses for the watee Responded really rude when asking a question
Another excellent location overseeing the harbour. Good selection of food, many versions of Moules. Savoury crepes were popular as well.
Called here before our midnight ferry back home. Had the set menu which was brilliant and inexpensive at 18 euros for 3 courses. Highly recommended.
Very nice 3 course meal for cheap money. Very good service, the food arrived in a timely matter. Nothing to complain about here.
