Les Arcades is a hotel restaurant open to non-residents and sits around the harbour from the main harbour restaurants. Found it by chance whilst out walking. Staff are pleasant and helpful. What HoppyEu doesn't like about les arcades:
We had the 23 Euro dinner here. The restaurant is fine; the service is friendly and efficient. The starters were tasty but we were disappointed by the mains (aile de raie and cabillaud); although prettily presented, they were under-seasoned and insipid. The desserts also were trying to look good, but lacked the most important thing : flavour. There must be better than this in Dieppe. View all feedback.
Three course lunch menu was very pleasant. Moules followed by casseroles of squid and belly pork. Nice desserts. 26€ pp. Very pleasant service and highly welcome on a Monday lunchtime when much of Dieppe is closed.
Entrecote beaf full of Grease and muscles. Mussels only With onions is marinière. Fries burned or greasy. I learned tonight an entrecote is not the Same for me as a Good beef. The meat in between Grease and muscles was Ok. Mussels marinière boring.
This restaurant gave us a warm and friendly welcome and offered a diverse interesting menu.. The food was superbly cooked and presented, and our waitress very helpful. You will mot be disappointed eating here I will certainly visit again.
We were very well looked after here, with unusual offerings on the menu. The specials included Neufchatel cheese wrapped in filo pastry which was very good. The andouillette served in a similar fashion was excellent. House wine was of good value.

My main course of steak and frites cooked perfectly but the highlight was my partners veal casserole. The flavours were superb and the veal perfectly tender. Rum baba and Apple tart for dessert clearly homemade and delicious. We had a carafe of house wine and as house wines go was excellent. We will be back next time we are in Dieppe.
