Second time at L'aventure, this time for Sunday lunch and a couple of years ago on a Saturday evening and both times it was superb. Service and food were excellent and it is set in a lovely street. This gem of a restaurant is probably the main reason for going to St Tropez this year View all feedback.
The woman and the man who served us were very kind and helpful! The food was extremly tasty, it was the best duck of my life!(other dishes were also perfect) And you have to try the mozzarella!!
We go there since a couple of years and both, the quality of food and the very attentive service, are still very good.
It is hard for a committed vegan to eat properly in St. Tropez. Ordering the ubiquitous pasta and risotto every day will tip the scale very quickly, which is not the desired effect at a seaside resort! What a joy, therefore, to happen upon L'Aventure, nestled on a narrow street in the emblematic old town of Saint-Tropez! While L’Aventure most definitely offers a meat- and fish-based menu, charming proprietress Ayala and talented chef Golan are happy to concoct a variety of scrumptious offerings for non-carnists, if given enough advance notice. Among the delights I sampled are crisp falafels (the best I have ever eaten), silky-smooth tahini, a light and fluffy quinoa patty, a refreshing oriental salad, and summer vegetables meltingly grilled in olive oil. Provided you call her 48 hours in advance to indicate your culinary preferences, you can go there with your eyes closed and your palate wide open: Ayala will compose a delicious plant-based menu for you based on the day's market offerings. Wash it down with a crisp rosé while watching the world go by, dressed to the nines on a summer evening. As the French say, “Que du bonheur!” – this is happiness!
