The ambience was lovely and the staff were friendly. The decor was nothing special but we decided to sit outside because there was a plastic sheet blocking the view if you sat inside. I had the pesto pasta which was a very generous portion, the sauce was delicious and not any old pesto sauce. Great place for dinner but pricy. View all feedback.
What tuomaspatrik doesn't like about LA SARDINE:
We ate 3 different mains: maison burger, sardines and pasta vongole. Burger is priced at 25€. Way too expensive because the burger is way too basic, buns are what you get for 1€ at a Spar, beef fell apart. Sardine dish still makes me laugh, 5 teeny tiny sardines and mashed potato mashed to death. Atleast the pasta vongole had nicely cooked mussels. We didn't have it but also 12€ for a milkshake is quite ridiculous. View all feedback.
On a day trip and had a really nice relaxing lunch with a great sea view. Food was good and the service prompt and attentive. Our waiter went out of his way to be friendly.
Very nice restaurant located on the port. Prices are good. Food is excellent, staff is smiling and helpful. I recommend.
This restaurant is at the bottom of the harbour before you get to the sea, it's purely for the tourist very expensive and small portions , a small sea bream with some mash will set you back 40 euros dessert are 9 euros , the waiter is one of those that says 'good choice ' with everything you order, go into town and there are Better restaurants .
We have spent the afternoon in Saint Tropez and wanted to have ice cream and something to drink. This place looked nice and welcoming. Although it is in the most touristic area - in the port - it did not feel like it. The waitress was very polite and nice, she gave us the wi-fi code without asking and we were immediately served the "carafe d'eau" for free, not the usual "mineral water" that you have to pay for. We had the non-alcoholic "Paradise" drink, that was very good - with fresh orange and grapefruit juice. The "Strawberry Melba" ice-cream sundae was absolutely outstanding: fresh, sweet strawberries and the best vanilla ice cream you can imagine. I have no idea how they cook, but for the ice-cream, drinks and level of service I can warmly recommend this restaurant.
We had grilled sardines and mussles, both very good. The housewine was ok, but not special. The service was good.
