Restaurant la Puce

Stop talking English, try to speak French and come in here. the place is so busy that they might just have to book. the choice is limited, but what they have is really well cooked and they need to listen carefully what is in the offer. la puce reminds me of old france and past times. I really can't get enough of it.

While visiting Chateau Laniote for a wine tour we were recommended La Puce for lunch. This is a La Routierre type restaurant for locals and truckers. fabulous! For less than €15 a person you get a full meal including wine. The menu is what...the menu is, which is a great concept. No need to understand the overwhelming French menu, you get what you get real food, great flavours and plenty of it. The steak was perfectly cooked and very tender. It was very busy when we went (a Friday lunchtime), mostly with locals.

As at home, for those who have lived in the countryside simple but authentic no bling bling decoration but efficient and user-friendly for 14€ you will have the soup of fresh vegetables three entries a well-copyy dish and well-flavoured cheese dessert plate coffee of the region smile of the waitress if you find better, write for others go there!
