Whatever I seem to order here the portions seem massive, even the children's portions. You can ask for the Pizza to be re-heated but you need a big appetite to finish. Always good quality View all feedback.

Lovely decor, terrible food. Service grumpy and slow. There is so much potential here, on the main square with a great view. Shame.
This has to be the worst restaurant experience I have ever had in France. We decided to stop at La Flambee for lunch as the menu looked nice and there was very little else in the small town square. There were four of us, three vegetarians and I am allergic to dairy and eggs. I know this is a tricky combination for french cooking but I have never experienced a reaction as poor as this. We ordered three crepes - ham, cheese, mushroom, creme fraiche and egg but without the ham. They arrived soggy, as if reheated, with only cheese and mushroom, non of the extra toppings. The cheese hadn't melted as it hadn't been freshly cooked. These were disappointing, especially for one of the 14 year old boys in our party who was trying a savoury crepe for the first time. I ordered the Salad Nicoise but asked for no egg and explained I was allergic. The waiter seemed to understand. The salad that arrived was a mix of rice, tuna, small pieces of green beans and olives and quite a bit of egg. All mixed together with a dressing, it resembled a packet salad. I ate a bite before I realised it was full of egg. I then complained and asked why I had been given a salad with egg when I had explained I was allergic. The waiter's response was ' there is only a little bit of egg in it.' I sent the salad back and asked for the ham salad instead, with no egg again. The salad that arrived was a few slices of packet ham, a few leaves of iceburg lettuce and a tomato. When the bill came we had been charged full price for the crepes even though we had less than half the toppings. We went into the restaurant to complain and we were treated with hostility and defensiveness from both the staff/supposed owners. The man seemed to think it was 'pas grave' that I had been given egg when I had explained about my allergy. We left while they were still being rude to us and will never, ever return. I implore you to do the same.
