Just think of a Lamb, chicken, duck and mergez Tajine with a touch of confit of lemon, almonds and ginger...! Located in the center of Saint Sauveur with a terrasse for the warm season and fire place inside for the cold one. The quality and price ratio is very good. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Casa Blanca:
Très mauvais!!Mauvaise qualité , tout est surgelé L'entrée était à moitié froid, le plat principal n'était pas frais et donc réchauffé au micro-onde et dur et froid à l'intérieur et brûlant à l'extérieur!!Les ustensiles mal propres. J'ai eu la pire expérience de ma vie au restaurant. À éviter absolument. View all feedback.

The restaurant is located in the centre of Saint Sauveur, with plenty of parking outside or across the street. The decor of the restaurant is nice and the menu is extensive. However, when we arrived there was only one other couple and the place was almost empty because the weather was bad and there was a hockey match on the TV. But the waitress insisted that we sit in a table for two even though it was tight. She put us right next to the fireplace and after a few minutes we began to overheat, so she turned off the fire. The table was too small for all the plates and glasses, etc, but she should not allow us to move, even though the place was empty. I had the chef's salad as a starter and it was totally delicious; I don't think I've ever had such a great salad. The main course I chose was chicken cooked with preserved lemons and couscous. It was OK, I was expecting it to be really tasty but the couscous seemed to kill off the flavor of the chicken. I would go back though because of the one dish that was fantastic, but I just cannot understand the seating police!
This restaurant does offer other dishes in the menu, however, I strongly suggest you first try any of the couscous combination plates they offer. It comes with a choice of either a soup or a small salad which is quite nice. The wine list contains a Moroccan wine which is actually quite palatable and not too dear. They do serve cold water and bread and butter before the couscous comes...be careful - the portions are hefty enough to fill you up. They also serve a good mint tea and pour it from nice metal pitchers - it is very sweet unless to ask for very little sugar or none. A good place for a relaxed meal after you have found parking before the show at the big-top of the Festival des arts de Saint-Sauveur, I ate there on seven of the evenings of the festival of 2014. The indoor dining room is dark and could use some refurbishing, but the terrace is pleasant to sit in and the atmosphere is pleasant. The owner is very attentive and helpful, however, the staff is a bit overwhelmed in high season - you better come in at 5 or latest 5:30 pm - - they do not really accept reservations for the terrace in high season. They are so full before the show that you run a risk of not being able to drink your tea calmly.
Even though I dated the visit in October 2013, it was really during the spring of last year. I must say that I am disappointed to write this report, as we had often visited this restaurant. I personally enjoyed the lentil soup, which was always a treat for me.However, on this occasion, my wife and I were treated to one of the worst experiences ever in St. Sauveur. We arrives, were seated, and then left to wait, and wait, and wait! Finally, a waitress arrived, asked if we would like somethign to drink. We chose a bottle of wine and it was brought to our table, uncorked and poured. My wife sampled it and that was all we had of the wine.Again we waited and waited for someone to take our orders. All this time, the owner was next to our table, catering to a group of eight people, whom he appeared to know. They had arrived after we did, but were already on their soup dishes, and had received lots of bread, as well, not to mention several bottles of wine.I got up and asked if we could be served. Oui, Oui. And we waited another 10 minutes before the owner, himself, arrived. Now for the best part. I ordered a Couscus à l'agneau. Sorry, we do not have any agneau tonight. I chose something else, I honestly do not recall what. My wife ordered a chicken dish. Sorry, we are out of chicken tonight. She ordered a meat dish. Again, sorry, we do not have this tonight! It seemed that the restaurant wanted everyone to order one dish, a simple couscous dish.At this point, I decided that I had had enough. After waiting more than an hour to be served, having watched another table be treated like royalty, and then being told that whatever we wanted was unavailable, this was the straw that broke the camel's back.I told my wife to get up, that we would go elsewhere and started to leave, but not before I place a $5.00 bill on the table to cover the bowl of soup and bread we had eaten. The owner sudenly appeared, very intense and angry. No. You cannot leave. You must pay for your bottle of wine first. Neither one of us had touched the wine since the server had brought it to our table. I refused.I'll call the police! cried the owner. Please do, said I. It'll be my pleasure to explain your service and our reaction to it. The ownr tried to stop me, physically, but quickly removed himself from in front of me. He, then, asked about a "tip" for the waitress! I laughed at this, as we left his establishment, with the owner shouting at the top of his voice that we should never come back!Well, we never have gone back to this resto. As stated earlier, we had been patrons of this restaurant. The prices were affordable, and the food was enjoyable. However, when, for reasons unknown to us, the owner tried to force one particular dish on everyone, perhaps because he had not anticipated a crowded evening, and had not ordered or prepared sufficiently for that day, I do not think it should be the fault of the client. Nor do I think that we should have had to wait an hour just to have our orders taken, when the owner was next to our table catering personally to the clients next to us. And to insist that we pay for an unused bottle of wine,, well, really, now! He should have given it to us as compensation for the terrible experience. It was embarrasdsing for us, probably more so that for the owner. We do not usually get up and leave a restaurant, no matter how slow, or poor the service. However, when none of what you ask for on the menu is available, there must be a problem somewhere. We go to other places now. Their loss!
Drove half an hour with a reservation made 2 days beforeOnce arrived : "sorry we are full."
