Preamble: I don't give notices on all the places I've been in, but only on those that have marked me, generally very positively or very negatively. I'm not looking for the little beast to criticize at all costs and I'm trying to make my experiences faithfully. Finally, if I can show indulgence on the kitchen, I forgive less a welcome that would not be the one expected of a restaurantmaker even when it comes to the bosses. and of course I can attribute 5 stars (or 1 or 2) to a gastro restaurant as to a cheap little restaurant but to the kitchen more than honest and to the friendly reception. What matters to me is the value for money. So to finish a very pleasant getaway in Burgundy, around 1 pm we were looking for a small bar where to take a coffee in this small village perched in the vineyard and discover the sandra bistro. pleasant setting, shaded terrace, nice view...But the tables all have covered so we decide to eat a piece. The welcome of the patronage is kind (the things will be spoiled later.) the restaurant is recent, the simple but pretty room and the toilets at the advent (some tourist restaurants of beautiful or otherwise should inspire and also offer toilets worthy of this name, but I get lost...).The restaurant offers menu from the day to 14.5 so in the market prices for a noon of a week. the dish of the day, Provencal beef: we would expect more regional but good. anyway there is no more while there seemed to be no crowds (5 pers at 1pm.) go for the lasagnes proposed. So I chose crudity plates, because terrine or ham wasted, it was badly accommodated with lasagna. for my daughter it'll be a piece of beef sauce with a map so flat to 18th. I start with crudities (tomate with carrots, celery, cucumbers apparently released directly from a box of subway), followed by industrial lasagna and probably 1st prize. I'm still looking for meat and real cheese and feel like I'm only eating some rubbery paste covered with bechamel. the beef is served with its epoisse sauce, certainly good, but accompanied by dice of potatoes probably frozen and 2 1/2 Provençal tomatoes. Not a single sheet of salad or other crack, why not but I'm not explaining to myself that we only serve fried pdts and no seasonal vegetable with a dish with a cheese sauce. and Provençal tomatoes is not very in phase with this type of dishes. Note that our neighbours who had the beef in Provencal had the same cracks. brief pdt rissolated whatever the dish. Why break your head cooking fresh vegetables in the middle of the summer. in dessert it is floating island (industrial as I could see), white cheese or lightning (also industrial) again, why break your head to do it yourself or to propose a good homemade fruit pie. about coffee, probably the lowest range with the maximum robusta. It could have stayed there and I wouldn't have taken the trouble to comment here. I'd just be categorized in places to forget. But when the boss asked us if everything had gone well and if we had enjoyed it, we honestly and without any aggressiveness, that bof it was not terrible. she was very surprised and asked why and we explained to her, which could allow her to question the proposed delivery. But she reacted very badly, saying that she had never had such remarks: indeed for years I myself answered yes from the tip of the lips when it was not correct and many customers dare not say anything. As to her arguments on whether it was industrial dishes, her answers left us panic:- the prices are indicated on the table: certainly the law obliges it but it was not specified. It is true that melting cheese in cream is a culinary feat.- if we wanted to make home we would have to be 3 in the kitchen: not necessarily. it doesn’t take hours to peel some vegetables, prepare some season fruit pies. and we know the middle of the restoration.- Finally, cherry on the cake, the flashes are not made home because "I am not pastry." I-no more but I do much better and leave to choose from the industry one can avoid the lowest of the range.- finally she announces that the terrine is made home, the foie gras is made home and I believe the persilded ham...I believe it but if it takes a little time, once a week can suffice. I know restaurants that offer very good menus of the day between 14th and 16th in the afternoon where everything is made home and with local and seasonal products. And some at 20th noon and evening in the week (to compare to a dish indigent at 18th), completely homemade and very high-quality with also a beautiful decoration and I find that more and more young restaurateurs offer fresh cuisine with seasonal and quality products and often local, at reasonable prices. What a pity in a region that is a country of cocaven. As for comments on this site or on the little futé I just watched and that indicates "it's done home", they leave me perplexed. Note that the only time a long time ago when I followed the advice of the little futen nancy, I was very sick shortly after the release of the restaurant probably because of food poisoning. In short, an experience to quickly forget. To end up on a positive note, the patroness seems to have taken over her minds and then showed herself friendly until we left but we would have appreciated the apologies for her attitude, because we honestly gave her our opinion without a hindsight and she could not decently be surprised that we were disappointed by our dishes. I therefore advise restaurateurs who do not accept any criticism to avoid asking their customers if they are satisfied with the performance. and I hope that this place full of charm will offer quality cuisine whatever the dishes offered.
Come to taste pizzas (only Sunday evening) we were greeted with a smile. the place is friendly and the very pleasant setting. for 2 people, pizza ( excellent and very copier) home dessert and a bottle of wine 42 euros. It's safe to book. .a strongly recommend
A charming place. The boss is nice, the nice place and the good kitchen. A very good quality price.
Very pleasant setting. well served and very good. Sandra is welcoming. the waiting can be a little long in case of high affluence. It's a good address.
