We called in to this restaurant at 8.50pm after checking in to our hotel on route to Calais. They welcomed us warmly and we had a delicious 3 course meal with a bottle of chilled Chablis which was only 22 euros...a bargain. The meal itself was 23 euros which we thought was amazing value. The staff were all very pleasant and efficient and we would eat here every week if it was near where we live. We highly recommend t... View all feedback.
What DoncasterYorkshire doesn't like about Café De L'abbaye:
Arrived at restaurant and ordered drinks which arrived fairly quickly but water not brought to table. Various bottles from soft drinks left on table throughout meal. Ordered two beef burgers and stressed without cheese, plus four more meals. Eventually after approximately 45 minutes food arrived. Burgers had cheese on top. Waitress apologised and said she asked for them to be without cheese but said ‘up to the chef’.... View all feedback.
Had dinner here. Really nice. Not exotic. But very good. Was a holiday weekend, so there was a local band in the bar. Really good musicians. Many atmosphere and people sing and dance. Good local beer too. All in all, a really beautiful experience.
Correct yourself. A little thanks to the young woman who served us.
We did our wedding meal the bottom nothing to say that everything was perfect excellent kitchen service at the top. This meal was in our simple and delicious image. All the staff were upstairs. Thanks to Anthony and the rest of the team I highly recommend
We had a very pleasant time. Excellent meals and prices. Good reception. We will return with pleasure
I only tested the snack party not the restaurant itself. American and good and generously served khem plate. Large choice of pressure beers
