Le Steel - Saint-Raphaël

My husband and I were hungry when we got off the bus from Saint Tropez. Not wanting to drag our luggage through the town, we spotted a little pizza restaurant across from the bus depot and decided to give it a try. It was the best decision ever! The couple who own and run this place are extremely friendly and accommodating. We both ordered pizzas and they were excellent. The trick, he said, is to prepare the dough the day before. And, of course, a good pizza is determined by the quality of the dough. We had an hour to kill before our bus to Nice, and I'm glad we chose to spend it at Le Steel. The restaurant was lovely, the pizzas were delicious, and the proprietors were very nice. It was a perfect way to spend the last few hours of our trip in the south of France.

I stumbled across this gem on a stop to Saint Tropez. The business owners were extremely hospitable and friendly. In addition the food was PHENOMENAL. I had a pizza, which was fresh and flavorful. The owners of the business also gave me directions on how to get to St. Tropez. I would highly recommend this gem to anyone in the area.

We spent a very good night in Sakura. The welcome was warm. The master sushi is nice and does not hesitate to explain the tradition (well stick the chops, how to eat.. If we ask him.
