Made reservations online and received a prompt confirmation. When we showed up for our reservation, a very imposing bouncer greeted us unkindly, called up to the maitre 'd who denied knowing who we were and had no note of our reservation. We were told to wait outside the reception area until we were re-invited inside to be seated. This is after I told them my name twice and showed them their confirmation on my phone. Once we were greeted by the maitre 'd I also showed him my confirmation at which point, he checked his reservation list and low and behold, there we were. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL! The waitstaff was excellent, attentive and the Charolais for 2 prepared to our liking. The vegetable garnish was overcooked and over-seasoned. Truffle mashed potatoes and fries were excellent as was the profiteroles we shared for dessert. Good, although overpriced, winelist.
