La Bella Vita - Saint-Raphaël

Stopped in here recently for lunch and first impressions were good the waitress was attentive when finished checking her phone. We placed or order and I opted for the Italian tagatelli was reasonably priced at €12. I then spotted the plat de jour which was a 3 course lunch at a fantastic €14.90. I am not a big fan of massive lunches yet within the plat de jour was a salmon tagatelli main and I asked the phone loving waitress could I have this a single lunch item instead which was agreed and the order changed. The food duly arrived and although a little bland (no black pepper was available) it did the job. I paid the bill and went on our merry way. On checking the bill later we were charges €15 for the salmon dish, sharp practice here on the restaurants side as it would have cost more or less the same for the 3 courses on the plat de jour and there was no portion size difference.

Happiness. For me, we are in a gourmet restaurant. Everything is perfect. We can feel love, passion and respect for products in the kitchen. It is a great pleasure to enjoy these good dishes. The mastery of the kitchen is at the top, creativity and freshness are there. Fresh and local drinks too. Thanks for the discovery of the cola by St. Raphael. Reception and service are also of high quality. The desserts are like the rest to fall back. Thank you Madam for thanking us, sir, for your welcome. For our next stay, we will return this is certain and of course I highly recommend

Super nice restaurant, top server, top cuisine too. We even had the opportunity to see the chief in person. View on the port. Nothing to say I really recommend!
