A poor experience considering the expectations (and the bill). A very limited menu: two alternatives for starters, two for main courses and guess what? Two also for dessert. Starter not bad with shrimps but the pieces of lobster where so tiny and unrecognizable. An appealing crispy sea-bass destroyed drowning in a soup of leeks, carrots and other unidentifiable vegetables: a sort of a French Rivera version on ramen. A sad end for a sea-bass. Apricot based dessert, well presented but nothing special. A 5 euro terrible espresso and a bill of 400 euro for 6 people… including 5 euro of warm “eau en carafe” (tap-water). Not recommended. And I understand why the restaurant was almost empty in highest week of the season.
We spent a beautiful evening enjoying a locally sourced, creative, elegantly prepared and presented dinner. We had a choice of a 3 or 4 course set menu with two different options for each course. The chef also prepared some fantastic amuse bouchées ,which delighted. The service, atmosphere, comfort and even the background music made for a magical evening. A must for those who enjoy fine food and elegant dining.
One of the best restaurant in Saint-Raphael. We visit it every summer and it’s going to be more and more testy! Family story: husband is the chef and wife is the hostess. Strongly recommended)
Excellent restaurant. Beautiful setting, quality cuisine and very good value for money.
