We knoe Jean Marc's restaurant very well having lived nearby for the last ten years. The food is simple but delicious and the wines are very well priced too. In summer the outside seating under a wonderful old regency style roof is simply delightful. There can be nowhere better to spend an evening in the whole of France. Lovely starters. Poor main meals. Poor quality steak. We were not asked how we wanted it cooked. Too much fat and expensive. Lovely desserts. We had high expectations that were not met at €130 for 4 people. View all feedback.
We saved Chez Vous for our last night in France, mostly for convenience because it was near where we were staying and we still had packing to do. We couldn't have been more pleasantly surprised! Our host was very helpful with translating the menu, the food and wine were tres bon, and the ambiance delightful. Suddenly, packing didn't seem so urgent! I wish we had tried it sooner; we would have come again.
We enjoyed two meals here, lunch and then dinner! Great service, terrific food, fun location! Highly recommend!
Under the beautiful hall of Saint puy, in the center of the village, Mr diefenthal has arranged some vintage tables or he serves, with great care and good friendliness, a real good market cuisine.Rarissime in the gers, a fresh slate fish. In addition to a small, graceful salad!a drink, wine in the centimetre. happiness is total because the addition is wise.
Very nice restaurant, full of charm and peaceful in the center of the small village of Saint puy. We'll go back without hesitation! P.S.: what happiness these fries house!
