High expectations after reviews on here - also virtually the only place open on a Monday evening. the place was clean and the staff welcoming. There were several French people there too. Not bad for a wet evening in October. My wife and I had a 20 euro set 3 course meal. The starter - artichoke 'tarte tatin' was nothing like a tarte tatin. Terrific food, different, wonderful attention to detail and an interesting menu. Service was friendly and humorous, adding to the atmosphere. All the starters were delicious and I was delighted to be able to have an in season artichoke with a choice of fillings. This restaurant would encourage a second visit to the town.
We had a wonderful evening meal here a few days ago. The menu is really innovative, with several speciality artichoke dishes. The one I had included Asian spices, coconut milk, and crevettes in an artichoke the size of a football. The young chef had won competitions and as we left we were told they had just picked up their first Gault -Millau award. Can't wait to go back.
Extremely welcoming staff during Covid period. Great menu, warm, friendly staff and attention by owner. Prices extremely reasonable for good quality food and organic produce. Highly recommend.
A family restaurant that sucks conviviality! It's the originality of the menu that made us push the door... The stuffed artichokes: from the sea, from the earth, in the kig ha, not to mention the rest. A short card and ultra fresh products. For years I eat very regularly in this restaurant, never disappointed, a friendly, smiling and listening family team, always different and well prepared dishes of the day, a varied menu to satisfy all taste buds... For lovers: a beautiful collection of whisky, and tips for wine.. Real professionals. For emergency information! Bravo and thank you!
