On our way him from Italy and driving with our dog Jasper a English Springer Spaniel we stopped for the night at Saint Pierre. Unfortunately the hotel we had booked did not open its restaurant until Summer, this was halfway through May so we were directed to Chez Mario. Me and my partner stopped for dinner, the dishes were very good. the proposed dessert exceeded all my expectations.
Non fermarti alle apparenze, il posto è molto datato e non ti invoglia a fermarti! Non troverai un posto carino carino dove pranzare ma un ottimo posto dove mangiare! Cibo ottimo, abbondante e di qualità !! personale cordiale.
Io e mio marito abbiamo fatto una pausa in questo piccolo ristorante, con un'atmosfera d'altri tempi, un ambiente semplice, personale veramente gentile e premuroso... Il cibo era molto soddisfacente.. abbiamo concluso il pranzo con una coppa di gelato artigianale fatto da loro di ottima qualità.. è stata davvero una bella esperienza.
Good decent home-made food in a very relaxed environment, recommended but not really special. Good carbonara!
