Great place to work, have coffee and a snack with a lovely view of the beach and sea. Owner was super friendly and a great little shop to look around. Surf shack vibe and great place to sit when the weather isn't so great. View all feedback.
What RJSMRT doesn't like about Beach Bar:
During our holiday at the end of July we cycled to the Beach Bar as we have several times previously. We were seated orders taken and sat back to enjoy the view but were then asked to move tables as someone else wanted our table! The owner who out of season is friendly couldn't give a damn and made no effort to apologise so we left. The owner only wants your money and not repeat custom (We have a second home nearby)... We were so happy to stumble upon this place after an afternoon at the beach. Finally a place where families with small children can enjoy a lovely meal before 7 pm when most restaurants open. Excellent oysters and gambas for the parents and tasty fish and chips for the kids. Friendly service, nice ambience and lots of space in the outdoor seating area for the kids to wander around while waiting for the food.
Went with the family in the afternoon for a snack and to feed the kids. We ordered starter to share and it came on a dusty plate with stale bread. Kids had sausages which were full of gristle. The cutlery was dirty. The service was sullen and un friendly. The toilets were grubby with two dirty towels for drying your hands. Altogether overpriced and awful.
The owner is very amicable. We had ice cream and it was very good. Easy, surf style atmosphere and great music. The terrace is windy but very doable. We will definitely come back.
Pierrick is also a very good vendor, selling excellent quality 727 products, be aware, he is dangerous : (in the end we where happy with everything we bought
