Panache Mobile

We were looking forward to revisiting Panache Mobile, but were shocked to discover they had relocated to the other side of the island. The stunning view was always a key aspect of our dining experience in the past. The new location is now a simple picnic pavilion in a wooded area near the river. Our favorite dishes didn't quite have the same impact in this new setting. It seems that ambiance truly does play a significant role, even for a food truck. Unfortunately, we won't be returning and we have doubts about their ability to thrive in this new location.

We waited a long time for lunch, but the view was really nice. The food was good, but it was way too expensive for what we received. Out of the wines we tried, only one stood out as good.

Very pleasant setting with upscale picnic vittles. Excellent grilled cheese; good salad; good cold soup. A great place for lunch before or after wine tasting at Vignoble de Ste-Petronille.

We stopped for lunch after motoring from Montreal. A heavy downpour started as we arrived so the outdoor terrace could not be used. We waited about 30 minutes for a table, but enjoyed the wine-tasting area to fill the time. The grilled cheese sandwiches were divine. The wait staff was great given the large number of guests and reduced capacity of tables.

The food in Quebec is fantastic and can compete with Paris on equal grounds. The restaurant's venue is stunning and the staff, ambiance, decor, and attention to detail are all impeccable. The attentive wait staff went above and beyond to fulfill all our requests. Although lunch was served at a leisurely pace, it only enhanced the wine pairings. This restaurant is a must-visit for anyone who loves gourmet cuisine that is prepared to perfection.
