The day wasn't going to plan the restaurant we usually go to was too busy! We drove back to St Pierre for safety in numbers and settled upon Le Piazza. The pizzas were really good quality. Tasty, big and with a good variety. The salad italienne was a bit disappointing, lacking in flavour (we grow tomatoes at home here so are a bit spoiled for tasty tomatoes). Small shop with several choices of artisanal biscuits. Tasting very good homemade caramels.
If algae tarts taste too much flour, the Charentais vintage is very good
