What User doesn't like about The Ale And The Witch:
I've been coming here for 8 years. I live close enough to walk/ride bike. Have always, always thoroughly enjoyed this gem. Have taken friends and family here. Good beers and good service, and I've always tipped well (I'm the $2 dollar bill guy). Unfortunately , the inside-outside set up does not work. Sorry. Come on people I really can't believe you give this place a 4.5 this is a 5-star rating one of those amazing places in the Saint Pete area wherever you lost that half a star give me a call this is a totally a 5-star rating establishment the greatest music and the owner and all the employees every single one of them are five star I really would like for you to get ahold of me and let me understand what we lost a half a point
First timer and loved it all the way thru. Nice vivid, mellow, friendly, cozy environment. The craft beer selection is just perfect. I also loved the courtyard vibe with live music. I enjoyed it to the fullest. Will recommend and will come back for sure. Awesome personell!
We went for a band that was playing. Non drinkers beware that you cannot get a coke. What you can get is better. Inexpensive($2) gourmet sodas in a bottle an $1 bottles of water. The band was awesome and there are lots of places to sit, stand or dance with different points of view. Acoustics are great too. Food available close by and parking is easy and cheap too. Loved it all the way around!
Amazing spot! The bar had tons of great beers and ciders, bartenders and owner were nothing but knowledgable and polite. The band they had play was incredible and they didn't charge a cover, even though the band is currently on a US tour. Highly recommend checking out this place when they have live music. My one piece of advice and no way affects how great this place is, if you can take an uber or a cab unless you want to pay for a parking garage or circle the area. But it's a bar so just take a uber and have a great time.
Absolutely the best spot we found on our craft beer adventure in St Pete Vicky was the best bar tender ever with amazing recommendations.
