Pipo 's The Original Cuban Cafe Since 1979

We had such a great experience at this family owned place. The ladies were so wonderful despite huge line. And the food was very good. I love they offer vegan options, you can either go with the 3 side vegetarian meal and select items that are vegan or go with their vegan wrap. I went with the wrap and it was very good but very filling, I was able to eat only half of it. Note that the sauce it comes with is NOT VEGAN. I also got the yucca with mojo sauce. My husband had the ropa vieja with white rice and black beans. He also tried the fried sides stuffed potato. He loved everything he had. I had a taste of his black beans and they were delicious! They also brought a freshly toasted cuban bread to the table. Overall it was a very nice experience and we'd love to come back.

What an excellent Cuban sandwich. Cannot wait to come back here and have it again! My date loved her meal as well! Beans and rice were perfection. Only weird thing was we were asked to pay after we ordered- which otherwise made us have to come back and wait in line to pay when we were ready to leave. Besides that, really an excellent experience.

Tried Pipo's while on vacation and with family. The food was delicious, we ordered takeout. The lady helping us was very nice. I tried the Ropa Vieja which was very good and seasoned very well. The dine area looked nice but again, we just got takeout. would recommend to anyone visiting the area.

This place is super solid! Everything I've had here has been. wonderful. They have my favorite papa rellenas I've ever had and cannot go with out ordering one. They come with delicious homemade hot sauce on the side. The Cuban Sandwiches are great and everything I've tried from the rotating mains and sides (cafeteria style) has been on point. Wash it all down with a Malta then slip into a carb coma as God intended.

My husband is a patient at Bay Pines VA Hospital currently. I've had take out from Pipo's a couple of times. I just needed to sit and catch my breath thoughts this evening, so I decided to dine in. I had yellow rice, black beans, pork, and a glass of sangria. It was just what my mind, body, and soul needed. Thank you Pipo's for a nice dinner.
