Great empanadas, seriously fam. Fresh made to order and many options! Bluecrab and buffalo chicken was delicious! Great service! I wish they had a classic ham and cheese empanada, but maybe in the future! View all feedback.
What JP doesn't like about Mr Empanada St. Petersburg:
I seldom get home from work early enough to get Mr. Empanada. Today, with a lot of rushing, I made it in time. When I got to the door at 6:49, it was locked!!The staff was inside and watched me try to open the door.This is already the earliest closing restaurant in St. Pete. Most places are open until 10pm.I will continue to enjoy Mr. Empanada when I get the chance, but it will never again be at this location. View all feedback.
If u love Empanadas then this is the place u need to go, my favorite one is the chicken, broccoli, cheese empanada ???!! They have a variety of different kinds of empanadas, they also have my favorite Guava cream cheese empanada?? go give it a try?Kid-friendliness: They have kid meals plenty seating space

Ground beef empanadas were fav. Beef and cheese were more cheesy than I like but still very good. Cuban was better side of ok, I like more pork, the ratio was great as was the crunchy bread on the Cuban. It was also still cold in the middle. Might have been better if it was fully heated? I would prob not try the Cuban again. The empanadas were so good I would just get more of them!
We ordered empanadas through Door Dash and we’re pleasantly pleased how warm our empanadas arrived! Definitely enjoyed the beef and cheese, chicken BBQ and the spinach and cheese empanadas! The Cuban was just okay. It was very traditional as it didn’t have the pork.Food: 5/5
