Decent Ribs, Friend Service. I always drove by during lunch and saw the parking lot packed with cars. Tried it for the first time and I ordered a full rack of ribs and potato salad. The ribs are really good, better than a lot of places around the area. I was really surprised considering it was a national chain restaurant. The decor says chain but the food feels similar to a mom and pop restaurant. What I loved was th... View all feedback.
What A doesn't like about Dickey's Barbecue Pit:
I took a video but it only lets you add photos. The bread was so hard it made a loud knocking if you tapped it against the table. The service was bad even though it was dead and the ice cream machine didn't work. They don't let you do to go orders over the phone and when you try to use the website you don't get the discount that they say you're going to get through the games you play. Last time I'm going there! I still love Dickies but I've never been to this one. This location is just not worth it. Believe me you want to go somewhere else!
I don’t expect 5 star dining from a bbq pit stop…I expect quick, good and reasonably priced bbq. That’s what this is, so they meet the mark for me. I had the daily special which was pulled pork, two sides and a drink for $11.99. I chose the Mac n cheese and baked beans. I thought the beans lacked a little flavor but the food was overall good and quick. The guys working there were also attentive and gave great service.
Nice place, a tad on the expensive side, but everything is now days. The food was good and made fresh. Ice-cream machine was down. Disappointing, because the idea of ice cream after our meal was our deciding factor in going there that day. Generally though, good food and service.
Classic BBQ, order at the counter and you can take away or sit inside. They also can cater parties for you, we have done this from them twice now. Also you can get a pound or more pork or brisket etc. to take home, something we have done for events. Sweet teas always good and you get a free ice cream cone with your meal, something the kiddo loves.
Ordered a 3-meat plate with two sides online. Picked up the order and went home. Realized one of the meats was missing so I drove back to the restaurant. The explanation was that they were out of one of the meats so they doubled up on the other two. It didn't look doubled up. The issue I had is that no one mentioned it when I picked up my order. They said they usually call to tell you when this happens. No one called me. So I drove back to the restaurant for nothing. An apology was only given when I verbalized this. Poor customer service. This one time I made the exception and went here instead of Sonny's BBQ down the road. I won't make that mistake again.
