This was my first time eating here. We had a 20 minute wait before even being seated. Once seated we were served very quickly. It was the best lunch I've had in a long tome and well worth the wait. Can't wait to eat here again. View all feedback.
The Eggs Benedict were quite good, though the tomatoes were served cold. The cookie could have used a bit more icing, but overall it was a very nice experience. The atmosphere was lively. Our server was friendly, attentive, and detail-oriented. Overall, it was a delightful visit.
In a landscape filled with overpriced, mediocre food and poor service, First Watch stands out as a delightful surprise. I opted for the roast beef Havarti sandwich paired with the Butternut Quark Bisque, and both were exceptional. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making the experience even better. I appreciate that they incorporate seasonal ingredients into their menu, adding variety. This has quickly become one of my favorite spots. The coffee was a bit on the strong side for my taste, but with so many other drink options available, it still deserves a 5-star rating in my book. We dined there a second time, and it was just as fantastic. The pumpkin pancakes are a must-try!
The service here is consistently excellent, even during the busiest times. The food is delightful, and they offer a great variety of drinks. I'm particularly fond of their sandwiches and soups! The only reason I can't give them a full 5 stars is that their tomato soup (which happens to be my favorite) doesn't quite measure up to the rest of their fantastic menu.
This is my second time at the Mid-Rivers site in St. Peter's MO. The first time was really busy and waited to sit for almost an hour. Over 30 minutes to get my food after the order. To my disappointment, my food was warm and cold! I don't care if the food is good and hot. I expressed my feelings to the manager who was chief today. He apologized and asked if I could give the restaurant another chance. To be fair, I decided that I would.. My second visit was Tuesday at 7:30. Very few people in the restaurant and to be completely fair, I ordered the same meal. And again the food came cold! Some of the foods were warm, but none was hot. I can't express my disappointment completely! I don't think I'll give this restaurant a third chance to give me cold food and still accuse me after my complaint. The waitress offered to have made her new, but really why bothered on this stage?! Below is how I left my meal!
Unfortunately I was a pretty disappointed with my breakfast here. We ordered coffee cold brew coffee to drink. We ordered the traditional breakfast (scrambled cheese eggs, bacon, potatoes, and toast), the farmhouse skillet hash, and a multigrain pancake Pros: -The cold brew was really good -The toast was SO good (although they were heavy handed with the butter) and they also sell loaves of it! Cons: -the food, all of it unfortunately. Everything was bland and lacked flavor. We asked for the potatoes well done extra crispy and they looked pretty much like boiled potatoes with no seasoning. Additionally it cost almost $2 for cheese to be added to scrambled eggs, although we went to the other first watch on Beale and it was free. -service wasn?t too good. Although initially she was attentive she (nor anyone) came to check on us once we got our food for over 20 minutes until we went searching for the check. Overall I don?t think we?ll be back.
