Like many exceptional restaurants, Trieu Chau may not have an impressive exterior, but this cozy spot in St. Paul serves some of the most delicious and richly flavored Pho in the Twin Cities. The broth is infused with warm spices and a deep beefy essence. The noodles are perfectly cooked, and the sliced meat is tender. In addition to the pho, there are fantastic choices for sandwiches and other noodle dishes, as well... View all feedback.
What Kedar D doesn't like about Trieu Chau:
Trieu Chau is a hole-in-the-wall spot that serves hearty, albeit oily, Vietnamese comfort food. As always, three stars is NOT a bad review in my book. It means a place is perfectly fine. We got the tofu chow fun $12.25) which wasn't bad but wasn't amazing. The hot spicy tofu w/lemongrass $14) was super spicy but also crazy oily. The sauce also congealed into a gloop pretty quickly. This is the type of dish you wouldn... View all feedback.
Trieu Chau continues to remain one of the best spots in the Twin Cities. The dishes after so many years remain so good. The Bun Bo Hue had great flavor and so much meat. Beef and potatoes continue to be a must have dish for my wife and I. The shrimp fried rice (the picture shows 3 shrimp short because my sons and I ate them prior to picture) was absolutely cooked perfectly.
Fantastic food that never disappoints if you're hungry for some pho or Bun noodles. My favorite is #148 and a close second is #135. Spring rolls are also a must have. It's a small place that can get pretty busy so either beat the lunch rush or do take out. Either way you won't be disappointed.Parking: Parking is proportional to the available seats. If the lot is full, you can be sure the inside is full too.
Probably the fastest service I've received at a restaurant! To be fair the restaurant wasn't super busy when I visited, but they provided the food within 5 minutes and sat me down right away. The food was amazing and a generous portion $12 pho that let me have a good amount of leftovers). I did need to go up to the desk and ask for the check/water refill, but I personally prefer not having to interact too much so I didn't mind.Parking: Parking is behind and around building. Fairly empty parking lot at the time
Best Pho I’ve had in town!Always enjoyed eating Pho but due to religion, I could not consume and beef product so I go so happy when I found out Trieu Chau offers pork stock’s Pho!I ordered the 123, hu tieu my tho; it was a big portion for me but it was so great that I did not want to waste any of them.
Well worth the price. Broths were rich in flavor and the other dish we got was amazing as well. You get way more food than what you pay for.Food: 5/5
