Was Shannon L at J S Bean Factory a mag?
This was recommended to me as a friends favorite coffee shop in the twin cities and it quickly became one of my favorites in the area. Their beans are just spectacular and you can really taste the difference in quality compared to other places out there. I got the miel and latte and wish I had bought two miels because it was made to perfection. It wasn't too sweet and it paired perfectly with their in-house roasted b... View all feedback.
What Phillip Imsdahl dislikes about J S Bean Factory:
Unusually rude. I went in and bought a pound and a half of coffee and two coffee drinks and roll spent about $34. As I was ready to leave I thought I would grab my wife a cup of coffee and remembered I forgot to ask for a free cup when I bought my coffee beans. I had been there all morning and so on my way out the door I politely asked for a free cup of coffee. And this young man 50 years my junior decided he was goi... View all feedback.

I ordered the pistachio honey latte, and I really enjoyed it. The service was quick and friendly, and I absolutely love the outdoor patio area!
This delightful local coffee shop offers perfectly roasted coffee.
The cold brew here is excellent, and there’s plenty of seating both indoors and outdoors. Even on a busy Saturday morning, I didn’t have to wait long!
Love getting a cuppa to go when I pick up my beans.
Great music. Lindsey is a great host as well as barista. As is everyone else. for the free Danish. It was delicious. As is everyone else. Fan of the banjo shredder. Quiet but friendly atmosphere.

Prices were very reasonable and the coffee was good! The dark chocolate is very bitter, so keep that in mind. The staff were really friendly and were quick to get the orders out. The patio is dog friendly :)Food: 5/5
This is a wonderful spot to relax, featuring plenty of outdoor seating (with lots of shaded areas) as well as some indoor seating. The coffee is fantastic, and the staff is incredibly friendly. My favorite drink so far is the cold-pressed coffee with added banana and maple, topped with oat milk—absolutely delicious! I make the drive from Lakeville a couple of times a month to meet friends here, usually staying for about 90 minutes. For those with dietary restrictions, JS has a great selection of non-dairy options for coffee drinks.
The miel was delicious from the first sip to the last. The pastry, on the other hand, was a bit dry and would have been better warmed up, but as Prue would say, it was still worth the calories even at room temperature. The outdoor area was lovely, with dappled light from the trees, a pleasant breeze, and a quiet atmosphere. Unfortunately, we were frequently bothered by the smell of cigars. To escape the smoke and find an outlet, we moved to a table under the roof near the door, but that decision came with its own challenges, as the conversations around us were amplified, and I struggled to hear my wife. As we left, we noticed that most of the patio tables were empty. Next time we visit on a Saturday, we'll aim to arrive a little later to increase our chances of sitting away from cigar enthusiasts while still enjoying the wonderful patio and coffee at JS Bean Factory.
Can't say enough about this coffee shop. The vibes are outstanding and the coffee is delicious. Simple, straight-forward, and it's all tasty! The pastries selection is usually pretty good if somewhat limited. You'll want to sit out on the patio if the weather is nice. Sometimes there is live music out on the patio. The shop is also very eco-conscious with composting on site and all to-go receptacles are compostable through city composting programs.Kid-friendliness: Patio is large enough to wheel a stroller onto. There was a high chair when I had my >1 yo with me though the straps were non-functional.Parking: This is a neighborhood spot so parking is somewhat limited depending on the time of day. I've never had to park more than a block away. Though if I can help it, I prefer to walk!
Delicious fresh coffee drinks with plenty of options. Kind people and lovely patio. Such a treat to come here.Food: 5/5
